Our farm policies

At LiL Country Farm, we pride ourselves on raising healthy ADGA Nigerian Dwarfs. To ensure a smooth experience for everyone, especially our beloved goats, we've outlined our farm policies below. Please take a moment to understand our procedures and expectations when visiting our farm or purchasing an animal from us.

Frequently asked questions

Here you'll find answers to common questions regarding our farm policies, goat health, and sales procedures. We believe in transparency and want to ensure all our customers and visitors are well-informed. Our commitment to the well-being of our animals and the satisfaction of our customers is paramount.

What are the top 2-3 things I need to know about your farm policies?

All kids born at LiL Country Farm will be disbudded/polled. They will be current on CD&T vaccinations and have their hooves trimmed before they leave our farm. The health of the goat is guaranteed only until the animal leaves our farm, and we are not responsible for any veterinary bills after they depart. Goats can experience stress during travel and change, so please monitor your new goat closely for signs of stress as they adjust to their new environment.

What is your policy on retaining or denying sales?

We reserve the right to retain any kid for any reason. We also reserve the right to deny any sale that we find not to be in the best interest of the animals.

What is your sales return policy?

All sales are final. We cannot take an animal back once it has left our property.

What are the prices for bucklings?

Bucklings start at $250 without DNA pulled, and $300 with DNA pulled. Pricing may vary and begins in June.

Are there specific rules for visitors to LiL Country Farm?

Visitors are welcome, but we ask that you respect our animals and property. Please do not enter pens without permission and always sanitize your hands before and after touching any animals to prevent the spread of diseases. For the safety of our goats and your own, children should always be supervised.

What guidelines should I follow when buying an animal from you?

We encourage prospective buyers to ask all questions before purchase. Ensure you have adequate transportation and a suitable environment prepared for your new goat. Understand that while we guarantee health at the time of sale, post-purchase care and any associated veterinary costs become the responsibility of the new owner.

How can I ensure my new goat settles in well?

Provide a calm, clean, and safe environment. Introduce your new goat slowly to any existing herd members. Offer fresh water and quality feed. Observe them closely for a few days to ensure they are eating, drinking, and behaving normally. If you have any concerns, consult with a veterinarian promptly.
